Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert was born on January 27 1970. She is an American broadcast journalist, and a former official in government. Heather served as Spokesperson for the United States Department of State under the Donald Trump administration. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.



 



 Prior to her posts in the Department of State, she was an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. From March to October of 2018, Nauert worked as the acting Under Secretary for State for Public Diplomacy Public Affairs, Public Relations and Public Diplomacy within the Trump administration. Nauert was named by Trump to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and to the White House Commission on White House Fellowships in the year 2019.
